General Admission Requirements

Dominion University welcomes applications from students who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to our academic community. Admission is open to all qualified candidates regardless of background, provided they meet the requirements of the National Universities Commission (NUC) and the university’s academic standards.

Undergraduate Admission

Applicants seeking admission into undergraduate programs must meet the following criteria:

  • O’Level Requirements: A minimum of five (5) credit passes at not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or an equivalent examination. Credits must include English Language and Mathematics, along with relevant subjects to the chosen program.

  • UTME Requirements: A satisfactory score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and participation in the Dominion University post-UTME screening exercise.

  • Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 16 years of age by the time of admission.

Direct Entry Admission

Candidates seeking admission through Direct Entry must meet one of the following:

  • At least two (2) A’Level passes in relevant subjects.

  • A National Diploma (ND), NCE, or equivalent qualification with merit or upper credit.

  • Approved professional qualifications as recognized by the university

International Students

Dominion University welcomes international applicants. All foreign credentials will be verified, and candidates may be required to provide proof of English language proficiency.

  • Specific programs may have additional requirements set by their faculties.

  • All applicants are expected to participate in the screening and interview process as scheduled by the university.
